Hawdon Valley
A lovely day today. We camped the night in the Hawdon Valley. The bird life is much improved with heavy predator trapping activity in the area. We heard kiwi, kaka, morepork, and parakeets, and saw all the regular bush birds. A robin whose territory we presumably invaded, made himself very much at home in our campsite. Unfortunately, though, the mouse population exploded this year in the Arthurs Pass area, so there was a lot of rustling activity during the night. We had to rescue our trash bag and make sure that it was inside the tent with us.
Why can't I change the crop in edit? This has taken so long to load, that I've had to do it twice, and forgot to choose the crop first time around.
