Good Morning Cairo!

This was the view I had when I opened the curtains of my hotel room this morning. It was a bit grey, so it's not the best shot but a record of the day at least and a view I'm going to enjoy this month. Am now all unpacked and feeling a bit more settled and rested. Met my co-trainer tonight for coffee and a catch up as we haven't seen each other since we worked together here last July. Tomorrow we'll spend a bit of time in the school getting all ready for Week 1, Day 1! We have 10 trainees and a healthy mix of male, female, nationalities, ages and teaching experience.
PS For regular visitors to my journal, you'll see the view's very similar to the one from my hotel room last year: Cairo July 2011 Last year I was in a smaller room overlooking the street and not the Nile and when Bb arrived we moved to a bigger one with a Nile view. This year I decided to upgrade on arrival to save the hassle of moving and to be able to enjoy the view. The extra cost per day is very little and worth it in my books.
