No Mean City

This Wednesday's walk with Cumbernauld & Kilsyth Ramblers took us from East Kilbride over Cathkin Braes Country Park, down towards Carmunnock and then back to East Kilbride.

The weather was kind to us - Tuesday's snow had all but disappeared and we even had a few spells of bright sunshine - and we were rewarded with good views over the city of Glasgow and the surrounding countryside in just about all directions. The view photographed here was northwards towards the city centre, with the Campsie Fells and Kilpatrick Hills behind still having a covering of snow.
