Meet George
A tiny little spring flowering plant called Iris reticulata (syn. Histriodes) 'George'. It has rich, velvety plum petals with a yellow blotch at the throat. As it's so tiny, it needs to be somewhere it can be appreciated close up, so I'm looking for a space in a rockery or on a wall. In the meantime, I love it in this purple pot and I couldn't resist the macro with illustration picture effect.
