Day Into Night

Sneaked a wander around the Kildean Loop and along to the weir on the Forth in the afternoon sunshine. Hadn't been down this way for a while, and it's always been a great escape from the desk, but not for much longer. Hadn't realised the extent of the new housing estate that's in the early stages of development down towards the river; took me on a bit of a detour negotiating around the boundary fence they've put in before I made it down here. Looks like the clear views towards the the mountains over in the Trossachs and the same out towards the Wallace Monument and the castle are going to be pretty limited from now on. Shame.

A quick dash home and straight back out again to support a couple of amateur colleagues (they'll be professionals some day) perform admirably in a production of 'South Pacific' in the local town hall. Late by the time we crawled home, so my pillow won out over blipping.
