Death of the PC

Whilst looking for a plug adapter I came across an old 80386 chip. 

This PC died sometime in late 1989.  It was one of the first PC file servers in Reuters (MH702 I think!) running OS/2 with Lan Manager and DECnet - I really did want to make my life difficult.

I was basically a knackered old PC and after reinstalling everything 3 times, sometime after 11:00pm I took it down to the bins and in it went.  I just kept its heart in order to remind me that technology is always out to get you!
