Red light on red rocks

I wanted to do a little exploring at Camelback Mountain. The parking area that I wanted to go to apparently is a private drive, so I just roamed around the area until I could find a place to stop for a second for a photo.

I really need to figure out how parking works for these mountains in town. Satellite view doesn't help, and nothing I've found online says anything. Yet people are still able to visit them and hike.
