Macro frustration

Okay, I am about to give up on auto-focus feature of the kit lens. It focuses on whatever it pleases! The sexy slant was a result of sheer desperation; I just wanted the darn camera to focus on the daffodil closest to me, and it wouldn't. It focused on another daffodil, so I was semi-pleased.
