10 years!

It's my 10 year anniversary today. I almost forgot about this bottle of wine that's been in our cellar for 5 years. We bought it 5 years ago when we were in the Okanagan touring wine country for our 5 year anniversary. This bottle was supposed to be perfect in 5-7 years so we left it for our big 10-year anniversary with a masking-tape label reminding us not to drink it before then. It wasn't until I cracked a far inferior bottle and thought - I wish I'd bought something nicer - that I remembered what was downstairs and screamed and ran down to get it.

And it was just as delicious as I'd hoped. And I'm very happy to have something nice to celebrate a wonderful anniversary with my wonderful husband while our beautiful children are sleeping.
