Home for the next two days

A bitsy sort of day today - took a student to a work placement in Orepuki, back to school, two phone calls and then a lot of messing about until picking the student up at 2.30.
This weekend some 'friends' are over from the UK. When I say friends ..... N used to contribute comments to the same music website that I used to comment on about 20 years ago. He and a few others went on to create their own website called Tapecircle - and yes you guessed it we used to swap tapes throughly he post (when it was still tapes!!) Most of the 10 or so lived in the south of England so they occasionally met up for gigs. I met up with them very occasionally at a gig. I haven't seen N in goodness knows how many years so very excited to catch up.
He and his wife are heading to Wanaka but I couldn't get accommodation anywhere close so am staying in Clyde for the weekend.
Not normally a B&B person but that's is where am staying for the weekend. Lovely spot, lovely couple in the middle of Clyde.
