Gall divided into more than three parts.

This tree gall is very different from the one I blipped a few weeks ago. I know there is a book about British Galls but it does not form part of our Natural History library. Google was not too helpful so I am hoping that a Blipper who I believe knows something about them will be able to make a few comments.

It does, however, look rather like something else that we see as we walk round the countryside. But I fail to believe that a horse could climb a tree. That's enough of that. I wouldn't want to put my foot in it.
