Oasis in the city

Like many cities, Tokyo has little pockets of green calm in amongst the busy-ness going on around. A nice mix of old and new architecture on show too.

Adam and I went cycling in Tokyo today. I thought it was a mad idea, but actually it was great fun and not as busy as I expected - not the route we took anyway. We did get a bit lost, but ended up back home eventually, having seen the backwaters of Shinagawa on our way.
