Got a phone call yesterday to say that my lens was ready to pick up, so I sent someone to get it. I may well have a go at using it tomorrow but I will struggle to process anything because the computer and my equipment are in the attic room and I don't think I am supposed to climb the ladder. (If anyone imagines that me and my equipment will remain apart for a 12 week re-hab period they've got silly weak brain cells. I'll have the lot brought down. )

The lens was in the lens hospital and the repair cost £240.00 - TWO HUNDRED AND FORTY POUNDS!!
