Porthowan beach

It was a lovely Spring like day today so we drove to the coast for coffee and fresh air. The tide was coming in but there was just enough time to walk along the beach to Chapel Porth or so we thought. We avoided the tide by climbing over a lot of boulders to reach the long stretch of sand then further on we realised we were cut off so had to retrace our steps. The final bit we took off oir shoes rolled our trousers up and waded through the water. I got soaked to the top of my thighs and the water was freezing! Good fun though and a lovely morning.
