Oh dear! Deer!

Woke this morning to find two young stags feasting on new growth in our garden.

For some time we have suspected them of stripping the leaves off several bushes but today we caught them in the act.

With the gardening season about to start this is not good news.

Does anyone have suggestions - apart from a bullet?  We have tried lion dung. That only works until it rains and washes out the scent. High fences not practical- too many bushes .
