From Here You Can See the Sea

Friday evening and the weekend stretching ahead like a long sandy beach...driving home from Cromer with J., the sun already set, I stopped the car a moment and crossed the road to take a picture. This is the first point along this road where you get a glimpse of the sea between the hills. It is round about the point where J starts to say triumphantly in a singsong voice, "I see the sea and the sea sees me!"
