Not the usual house guest

Most of the time I catch the spiders in the house and put them outside, especially as the girlfriend isn't too keen on them. But for some reason we decided to keep this one. He's lived round the handle of the kitchen window for about 6 months now. We had to remove the web once as it was a bit dusty and untidy looking. I doubt if he was too impressed, but he's done himself proud and spun another impressive structure. Hopefully as the weather warms up he'll do his bit and help keep the flies down.
