Black Rock, Derbyshire
Went on a great all along part of the High Peak Trail, enjoying sunshine and blue skies. The lack of leaves on the overhanging branches give away the fact that it's not summer.
Black Rock is an impressive rock formation (think Lion King!) under which the trail runs. This is looking over towards Matlock.
Superb view from up here, looking down to some of Sir Richard Arkwright's mills, some local quarries and of course, the hills.
Part of our route today took us up and down a 1:8 hill. Not sure the gradient of the subject of yesterday's blip, but needless to say, I was huffing and puffing and feeling my muscles!
