Lucky dogs!!!

We have been such lucky little doggies today.  We have been out playing all afternoon and it has been such fun.

Ann’s friend, Fiona, has come to stay this weekend and we had to go to Newquay airport to pick her up at 6pm-ish, so at 1o’clock Ann said, ‘Molly, would you & your very gorgeous golden retriever boyfriend, like to go out for the afternoon?’

It’s been like a summer’s day in Cornwall today.  And apparently tomorrow is going to be even hotter.  15 degrees tomorrow folks???

Anyway, first we went to ‘Crantock Beach’ where there were loads of other doggies having a play.  It was fabulous.  …………….Apart from the fact that Ann tried to take an ‘arty farty photo of the sun shining on the sea’ and a big wave came and filled up her wellies with sea water so then she had to spend the rest of the afternoon squelching around.  And NO, she didn’t manage to take an ‘arty farty sun shimmering on the sea photo’ because she was too busy running away from the sea.

Then we walked up the ‘Gannel’. The ‘Gannel’ is a little river that runs past these fabulous houses, ends up on Crantock Beach and then flows out to sea.

………….And then, if two walks weren’t enough, we went for a walk around the headland at Pentire.

We have had such a fun afternoon.

 ………………..And then we went to pick up Fiona from the airport and Ann had to apologise for the smell in the car; because after all our swimming & rolling around on smelly things on the beach, we are two very stinky dogs???!!!
