Looong day

Up early to do meeting prep-wasn't a great night's sleep as the fire alarms went off twice!
The trustees meeting was a long one but relatively effective and no big spats so ok but tiring. Then straight into giving a talk to the leadership training programme for one of the Divisions, followed by dinner with them. Nice people and interesting chat but soooo tired and then after dashing back to euston I was confronted by what has to be one of the worst sights....crowds, a long wait for the next train to MK and then delays appearing for signalling problems. Ended up arriving there after 11....so desperate to have been at K's earlier and relaxing....sigh!
