Just a bit of the moon

I missed The Waterboys on Tuesday due to being maudlin. I expect I'll regret that forever but such is life!

A friend who went instead of me said afterwards 'Ooo he's got such skinny legs! Like bits of string with knots in the middle!'
'But what about the music, Elaine? Forget the legs!'
'It was OK. Great seat! Thanks!'

Yeah right... Actually I had a boyfriend once who said I had lucky legs - 'Lucky they don't snap!' he'd said.

Oh well. Forget that. It was hot on Thursday and I had a late pint sat outside the Dog and Doublet and I saw not the 'Whole of the Moon' but a bit of it.
