Quail Island

Another strange day, a mixture of showers and sunshine, wind and calm.  Interesting.  This pic was from the top of Mt Pleasant, as usual, centred on Quail Island.
My camera has been playing up (Olympus XZ1).  It functioned fine for years, and then I got some dust on the sensor.  I've had it in to the shop twice to clean, but it is only a few weeks since the latest clean, I haven't been using the camera as much, and it picked up a couple more irritating blemishes.  I managed to shake one of them off by banging the camera, but I'm not sure this is a good long term strategy, so I'm ditching it for a Stylus 1.  I'm looking forward to the longer lens, and some other additional features of the newer package.  It is a shame that cameras don't last so long now, but technology advances so fast that it doesn't seem worth making anything to last.
