Rich Black Hellebore

Had a lovely hack out this morning with Johnny seeming to really have cracked his fear of tractors and not batting an eyelid as they passed us on the roads.

This evening we took the boys into York for dinner at Bill's to celebrate Eldest's birthday tomorrow, I forgot my camera so missed the opportunity for some nightime York blipping, but luckily I had taken an emergency back up.

These are my favourite flowers in the garden at this time of year and I especially love this rich black hellebore.
