The nation is looking forward to Pastora Soler performing 'Quedate Conmigo' - she's from Andalucía and is famous for her 'Copla' style. I went to one of her concerts in Malaga - the Spanish love divas with a good pair of lungs that can belt out a good, emotional and poetic ballad.

Bit of upset here over how foreign press has reported the Spanish tv execs joke about asking Pastora not to win. Nonsense about cost of staging the kitsch extravaganza as it shared amongst the major EU economies and Germany is sure to pick up the bill!
