Need for speed

After yesterdays exertions I wanted a little lie in but there's no chance of that at our house.  Pack it all in should be our motto.  Early ish start to catch the 'Hadrian Express' out of Carnforth at 9:30.  double headed with a Black Five and Jubilee Leander.  It's travelling up to Carlisle then across to Newcastle  down the East Coast to York and back to Preston.  T'wasn't meant to be blurred just forgot in the excitement to change the shutter speed.  

Following the photo stop we headed over to Abbeystead for a blowy short walk and took in the crocus at the Shepherd's Church.  Cool weather had kept them back and they weren't open.

back home and then a full 2.5hr wash and  internal valet of the car.  It's now spanking ready for next week's travel's and no doubt muddy boot marks.
