I.W.D. Event

I had a great time at an International Women's Day event down in Baddeck.

A panel discussion about Women In Art, mostly related to artists here on Cape Breton Island, took up most of the morning, and it was so informative.   We live in such a vibrant community here...for such a small place it really rocks!   2 musicians and 1 visual artist, talked about their experience as women in the arts!

This is our dear friend Leah Noble.....she gave a wonderful presentation on Creativity and Social Media!   Again, so informative and she has such a positive attitude!

Lunch was great, conversations were lovely and now it's time to for a bit of down time before i have to prepare a curried chick pea dish to take to a birthday party this evening!   Wow, it's all go!
