What weird compulsion takes the football fan out on a wet Saturday afternoon to dourly witness another joyless relegation battle? This was taken at Victoria Park today where I have a season ticket and Ross County defeated Partick Thistle 1-0. The answer of course is hope, that useless emotion. Four wins in a row though, so hope there is.
