A Perfect Picture Day
What a day. It has been a picturesque day the day in Sheffield.
Waking up at around noon, I felt the spring was in the air. I couldn't help going out with my camera and my feet spontaneously started walking towards the Weston Park. As I expected, the park was full of those who wanted to feel the arrival of spring. Flowers were blooming proudly, bees were busily flying from flower to flower, and blackbirds were singing.
Going back to my flat and checking the photos I took, I heard someone playing the flute at the neighbouring churchyard.
Today reminded me of...
the day I went climbing Arthur's Seat last spring with a friend, and
the days I cycled on the main street of my home university to go to the library.
It is only around Sheffield that the weather was so fantastic? Or so was in whole Britain? How was in your city?
I couldn't decide the photo of today, so had my friend choose one. She finally chose this one, saying "I feel close to the isolated purple crocus in foreground". I didn't expect such an answer, but thanks to her, I managed to decide the photo of today!
I hope this photo can tell you how fantastic today's weather has been!
