Hillside Kirk

Been a fine enough day for early March but the rain came in later in the afternoon.  

I been travelling all over Unst today and taking snaps for my new project, Then and Now photos :)  A fine day to get out and about but a bit dull at times but Sammy hasn't complained.  Met up with my sister Julie in the afternoon and we all went swimming at the pool, fine way to spent the rainy afternoon.  Tea at Julie's and now a social evening ahead :)

I had been taking photos of this old kirk for the Then and Now book.  Some lovely old features still about the building, even though it's fallen into a ruin.  Not sure what the coat of arms has on it above the door but last a long time since 1843.  The Hillside kirk, Baltasound.
