Crocuses In The Sunshine
The boys went off to BB’s football this very windy morning. I baked, washed and tidied. It was another incredibly windy day, so many pegs were required on my washing. BB came back happy from football as he had scored the winning goal. Not that I can tell you the score as it is against the rules:
It is unacceptable for a league and/or club to post results from development matches on to any website or publish in any newsletter or newspaper.
BB had time for a shower and a sausage roll, and then he was off to play in a badminton tournament. It was mayhem, so we stayed to watch for a little while, before dashing home for some lunch and to save the washing. TT was debating whether to go for a run but plumped to do a bit of garden tidying in the end, as the wind was still very strong. I did a smidgeon of garden tidying before heading back to watch the badminton. BB had just been knocked out when I arrived. He was not very happy, but then brightened up when he found a friend playing with an electronic gadget. We stayed till the end though, and watched both the boys and then the girls finals. They were both excellent matches. TT arrived right at the end, having gone for a run after all.
We came home via the supermarket, where TT stocked up on provisions to make pizza for tea. BB was exhausted and put on a Harry Potter DVD. He will probably be asleep soon.
Here are my crocuses again - in all their glory today - having opened up in the sunshine. I hope the wind hasn’t blasted them too much.
