Dunsford Place, Bath

We spent a lovely afternoon following another walk from On Foot in Bath, a book of 15 walks around the city. Today's walk took us from the city centre, through Henrietta Park, around part of Bathwick, into Sydney Gardens, along the Kennet & Avon canal and then back into Bathwick and back into the centre. Along the way, we called in to St Mary's Churchyard, just a few yards along the road from a row of shops (and the pub!) that I regularly used during the 10 years that I worked in Bath - and yet, I never knew it was there! One of the graves bears the inscription "This grave is full" - there's really no answer to that!

This is Dunsford Place, built on Bathwick Hill in the 1820s.
