Grand Canal

After a long double plane ride through Lisbon, we arrived safely in Venice. Sebastien took the whole trip like a trooper (minus a bit of unhappiness from being suck in a brightly-lit airport in Portugal in the middle of the night) and seems to love being carried up and over all the bridges here.

Made the requisite visit to San Marco this evening before dinner.

So glad this is still the off season....can't imagine the craziness in the summertime...

PS Yes, that's confetti left over from carnival on the ground...luckily Sebbie didn't notice it before the photo was over...
