Small Signs of Spring

Hubby and I went for a walk this afternoon, taking the long route into the town and back. We passed by Eliasteich (Elias Lake) which is a small lake used for fishing and bathing. It is the home of the model boat club and hosted the world model boat racing championships in the 90's. 

It was a glorious sunny day of about 6° and not a breath of wind. The surface was like glass with only an occasional ripple from the odd fish waking up - it is still pretty cold with ice remaining around the edge in the shaded areas. It looks like spring is on its way over here as well.
