Protestin', Peacefully

Stayed over in Manchester lastnight as we met some friends, who went to see the Charlatans. A top night it was. Found a cool pub called Brew Dog. Fantastic range a "proper" ales.
This morning we walked into the city centre for a coffee only to find ourselves stuck in the middle of an EDL rally! This is as close as we got, though this crowd were simply observing the EDL folk who were situated on the far left (not seen here). Plenty of action here on Flickr here. There was plenty of shouting, jeering & drumming (as in drummers drumming). So the coffee never happened and we ended up heading home.
