Kite Day!

A slowish start, but to make the most of the warmer weather and sun we hit the beach with the stunt kite.

Caused some what of a stir as the kite must be unusual for hereabouts...lots of people stopped to watch, walked closer or took photos and videos of the kite flying about.
We had a new friend by the end of our couple of hours, a little boy who was absolutely fascinated with the kite and in particular how it was launched after a "crash"! He joined us for a while, had a bit of a fly but enjoyed far more the running back and forth to re-launch it after it came down!

On the way home we stopped in to purchase a friend for Tom...now we have Horace and he seems to be settling in well with his new tank mate, after an initial tussle over food.
