Love is like a butterfly
I loved that programme when I was younger (much younger) Butterflies with Wendy Craig & Geoffrey Palmer. It was about a suburban family. The mum (Wendy) Rhia was an awful cook. I remember thinking at the time how dreadful it would be if your mum couldn't cook. And how odd it would be if rather than parents rowing & shouting they would debate politely & then not bother speaking like they did on the show.
Talking of things from the past. We had a visit today from one of my family who I've probably not seen for over 30 years. My distant cousin of some sort Graham brought his two kids round to say hello as he'd brought them to see where he grew up. They live about an hour away now but don't have any reason to visit as his Mum has moved from the town. It didn't take him long to show them round the old haunts. Nice kids, though I'd kind of expected that. He's got two brothers too, couldn't be more different, though they all look like peas in a pod. It was really nice to catch up. Hope it's not another 30 years before we cross paths again.
The blip is a butterfly that's in my house at present. I found it lurking behind my curtains this morning. Spring must be on its way!
