Golden Shears final

Tonight I had the privilege of helping out on the finals night. This is a photo from the PGG Wrightsons shearing final. They have to shear 3 Merino, 3 Corridale, 3 long wool, 3 second shear and 3 lambs. This is to find the ultimate shearer of all types of sheep. This year was also the first year in the history of the Golden Shears that someone from another country won. A Scotsman took out the open shearing final winning $3000 and a nitro hand piece. It was a fantastic night!
