Red Pepper Splash

When there's things needing to be done, there's always something more interesting with a camera to stop me.

Decided to have a go at the vege splash today.......set up in garage included black backdrop, fishtank half full of water, flash, wireless trigger and plastic bag to protect the flash from splashes.  Great fun, even if it meant getting a little wet.  This is my first 'serious' attempt at this kind of pic and whilst I'm pretty pleased with it there is plenty of room for improvement.  For a start, I feel the need for another flash or two....and suitable adjustable stands to hold the flashes. I might need another wireless trigger too.....   

Uh-oh - dollars rising!

Best I head to bed and contemplate just when I will do the other things I should have done today but didn't quite manage to.

Oh - and what an amazing finish to the NZ Breakers game.  I only turned the channel on late in the afternoon, just in time to find the game tied at 79 points each with 17 seconds left on the clock.  What a super-exciting 17 seconds that turned out to be!  A last-second, off-balance buzzer-beater that hit it's target and gave the Breakers their 4th title in 5 years.  Amazing stuff.
