Updating the mainframe

Each year we buy a calendar and fill it with dates of travel, family visits and so on.

As I'm frequently away with work and G works shifts, it's become an essential means of keeping an overview of what's about to happen each week.

It also means that when either of us says "I don't remember you telling me...", there's a get out clause that it's on the calendar.

A clause used fairly frequently by both parties, I should add.
