Submarine defence system!

Such a lovely day spent with friends, eating in the garden...very European! We made the most of the beautiful weather and took a walk along the beach and promenade at Cramond. This is the submarine defence boom that was built during the second world war between the mainland and Cramond Island. At high tide you can just see the tops of them.
