Gerald
Went to Bents this morning to buy some farmyard manure and topsoil. It took some finding - ostensibly a garden centre, gardening seems to be a sideline. The restaurant is now huge, there were plenty of dogs at the hound emporium, and the foodstore has expanded hugely with the best butchers in the area and more besides.
I was struck by Gerald (he has a name tag), an almost life size plastic gorilla, surrounded by Coconut milk for sale, and strategically positioned by the fresh fruit section. He is also for sale, a snip at £799.99, and a must for the modern kitchen.
But we focussed on the manure, much more relevant for our current needs.
