Making a Beeline
The day started off pretty dull, wet and miserable. I was hoping to get over to the St. Patrick's Day parade in Huddersfield but didn't make it.
The sun came out after lunch and a late afternoon trip to Cromwell Bottom Nature Reserve provided the opportunity to see various tits, finches, robins, blackbirds and a heron.
This one was heading straight for me with a nut in its beak. Not that easy to focus on a fast bird.
