Newt spotting

The neighbours may think I'm mad but I'm really enjoying going out with a torch late at night to spy on what is going on in the pond. There are several male frogs waiting for some females to show up and at least 6 newts. The newts are just fantastic to watch and such a treat in a small urban pond. They are all looking very spotty and colourful at the moment.
