The African Bowtie

One of the bowties made by our lovely niece for her Dad's 60th Birthday party last night.  CJ modelled it for me this afternoon.  

We all had one at our place at the table last night, including the ladies. Different, colourful African fabrics.  This fitted in with the two themes of the evening.  Barbershop bowtie (her Dad is a keen member of a close harmony singing group).  Africa - her father took part in a charity visit to Tanzania last year, and has continued to support the project since.

We had our meal at an African restaurant called Jambo Grill in Falkirk. They are moving to Edinburgh at the end of the month, just off Lothian Road. I would highly recommend it.
