and today something different ...

something different today, not one of the 218 geese that were at the back of the old roadhouse, [counted by a professional bird counter person] not the flying egret which I captured and even if it is a teeny but out of focus am still pleased with it [the bird person said they have been around all the time since last year but one of them is a young one from last year tagged in Darlington!] ......  but today we have my lonely swan, still only the one which is sad but there was a great show of wing waving following a preening session ....
