After a very busy day at work Crozet608 and I set off for a 5 hour drive to Reims! 

10 minutes into the journey and the motorway came to a stop! We sat for 50 minutes without moving and we were still in Geneva! There had been a small collision in a tunnel. The emergence services were able to open one lane and we crawled past and onto clear roads!

Arriving at our hotel in Reims at 21:30, which promised bar snacks and cocktails, Crozet608 and I were disappointed to find neither! We were able to find a diner a little distance away but were both too tired to make the most of it!

Philip and I had often used this particular chain of inexpensive roadside hotels but were usually very lucky with their dining! Luck was obviously not with us tonight!
