Country Cousin

We've had a leisurely day today. We each did our own thing - I had a gentle walk from the cottage around the heath. The warmer weather seems to be finally bringing out more butterflies; I saw lots of small heaths in particular, and dragonflies are about too. Didn't have much success with birds but the best moment was a close encounter with this fox. Our suburban ones are seldom out and about during daylight but here they seem to be happy to roam the heath at any time. This one even waited whilst I changed my lens before deciding to trot off in the opposite direction.
