Misty Tarawera Morn

The day dawned beautifully at Lake Tarawera today and as I boiled the jug for the first cup of Yorkshire tea for the day the mist was rising off the lake giving us such an emphatic autumn feeling. A misty crown on Mt Tarawera too so I went for an amble down to the water's edge and watched the black swans, scaups and coots all enjoying the bay before the humans invaded their space.
