On Our Way To The North Rim

Through the Navajo Reservation:
We left the Grand Canyon's South Rim and set out to drive to the
North Rim, half way around the Grand Canyon.  You can see the S. Rim
from the N. Rim and visa versa, but, by car, it's a longer trip than anticipated.  The landscape is beautiful - Mesas and Plains and very low
vegetation. Navajo Villages dot the Plains landscape.  It was  a spectacular 4/5 hour drive.  We stopped for lunch along the way at the
only eatery we saw.  Great sandwich.
