Ancestor

I watched this monkey for a while as she picked fruit and peeled the skin off by rubbing it frantically on the branch. The way she moved her hands and darted her eyes around to watch me were so human. One good thing about over-confident monkeys near visitors' centres at national parks is that you can get close to snap them.

The natural world is staggering.
